In 2002 Dave Hall left a career in education to pursue a love of oil painting. His tonal landscapes, now in galleries in the northern Rockies, often reflect his passion for rivers and what they represent to him. Moving Water is a sparse memoir. It was inspired by two grandfathers who loved the outdoors, by a rural New England childhood, by a lifetime of dawns and dusks, by the relationships that define our lives, and by the death of one friend who knew where to find the beauty in his life.
